Yes. The Backpack has been made using the original cutting patterns created by the prop makers who made Lucy’s backpack for the TV show… you couldn’t get more accurate than that.
What is the Backpack made from?
The Lucy’s Backpack replica has been made from carefully chosen materials using fabric swatches supplied to us by the prop makers themselves. However, we made one substitution, swapping the leather for a microfibre leatherette. The materials used in the bag are:
Main bag fabric – polyester
Gold pocket detail fabric – linen
Straps and base detail – microfibre
Poppers and buckles – mild steel
Lining – polyester
Interlining – polyester
Fleece blanket – polyester
Cone-top bottle – tin-plated, lacquer-coated mild steel
Protective outer bag – polyester
How big is the Backpack?
The Backpack has a volume of 20 litres and its dimensions are as follows:

Is it waterproof?
No, the backpack is splashproof but is not designed to be waterproof.
Can you drink water from the replica bottle?
No. The bottle is a display piece only. Although the bottle is food-safe it is not recommended for for drinking from. The cap has been sealed in place to prevent its use as a drinking bottle.
